Sharge
Peer-to-peer electric-car charging, in collaboration with Audi. This is where the Forbes 30 Under 30 recognition (2017) began.

- Charging an electric car depended on a public network that was scarce, expensive and uneven.
- Product
- Sharing-economy platform: anyone with a socket could share it so that others could charge their vehicle.

- Co-founder & CTO. Technology and product leadership.
- Outcome
- Collaboration with Audi and victory in the Audi Creativity Challenge. In 2017, Forbes 30 Under 30 (Technology, Europe) for my role as CTO of Sharge.

What Sharge was
Sharge turned every home socket into a potential charging point. Instead of waiting for a public network to be rolled out, the network was provided by people: a peer-to-peer model for a physical-infrastructure problem. As CTO, I was responsible for the technology and the product.
The recognition, in its place
The 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 is associated with my role as CTO of Sharge, not with later projects. It is an important nuance: the list recognised the work at Sharge. During that period I also took part in the Imagine Silicon Valley program.
